This December, 80 students from universities in 12 European countries took part in the MIRAI 2016 Winter programme. “MIRAI” is the Japanese word for future. The preparation for the 10th Edition of the EFIL Volunteer Summer Summit, to take place in Hellishólar, Iceland from 13 to 18 August has begun. In the last years, the focus of AFS has become more and more the one of being an educational organisation and to profile as such externally, especially to schools. The annual Intercultural Dialogue Day (IDD) was celebrated in September last year. Connected to IDD there was also the annual IDD Photo and Video Contest.
