On 29 September the 9th edition of the Intercultural Dialogue Day (IDD) took place all around Europe. On this day volunteers organise events in their local communities to promote intercultural dialogue and to show what AFS is and what we stand for. Currently 260 students are on the European Citizenship Trimester Programme 2016 in 25 European countries! 39 volunteers have been recruited from the EFIL network for the Trainers and Support teams. In September, 70 university students from 35 countries in Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus took part in the MIRAI 2016 summer programme. “MIRAI” is the Japanese word for future.
